We are happy to share that the 2nd International Conference of Environmental Remote Sensing and GIS – ICERS 2026 is attracting remarkable international interest. This year, the conference will bring together scientists and professionals from 46 countries worldwide, highlighting the global character of the ICERS community.
ICERS 2026 will take place in Zagreb, Croatia, at the National and University Library (Hrvatske bratske zajednice 4) from 1–3 July 2026, bringing together experts in environmental remote sensing, GIS, and Earth observation.
We have received 130 abstracts from researchers across Europe, Asia, North and South America, Africa, and Australia. This wide geographic distribution reflects the growing importance of environmental remote sensing and geospatial technologies in addressing global environmental challenges. The diversity of participating countries demonstrates the strong international collaboration within the fields of remote sensing, GIS, and Earth observation.
The strong international response makes ICERS 2026 an excellent opportunity for organizations and companies to present their work and support the global Earth observation community. We invite companies and organizations interested in sponsorship to explore the available packages.
Although the abstract submission deadline has passed, it’s not too late to join us in Zagreb! Registration for participation is still open, so make sure to register soon and secure your spot at ICERS 2026.
We look forward to inspiring discussions, new collaborations, and the exchange of innovative ideas that will shape the future of environmental monitoring and geospatial science.
See you in Zagreb this July!
